Lynn kindly answered a few questions about her story and wearing Active Therapy.
Q When did you decide to become a athlete?
I’ve always been relatively active and I never planned on making movement my profession but there’s something about parkour that got me hooked and cannot imagine doing anything other for a living than what I do now.
Q How do you feel about being in a male dominated industry?
I honestly don’t mind it. Of course I wish there were more women in the sport but personally it doesn’t put me off that I mostly train and hang out with guys. Even though parkour is characterized by its sense of community, it is a very individualistic sport and I mostly train on my own anyways – even if I train around other people. Hopefully women aren’t discouraged by the fact that parkour is a male dominant sport – they miss out on the fun of jumping off walls!
Q Where have you travelled with work and whats the most exciting thing you have done?
One of the best bits of parkour and having it as my job is the travelling I get to do. Travelling for commercial jobs is definitely fun but you hardly ever get time off to explore. I mostly enjoy the trips I get to go on with my team mates. It doesn’t really matter where we go but it’s always a fun experience. If I have to name one outstanding place that parkour has taken me to, I has to be Santorini in Greece. The place is magical but being on that beautiful island for a week surrounded by friends who share my passion makes it even better.
Q How do you feel wearing Active Therapy Clothing?
